Donations / Fees

Each year it is necessary to raise funds to purchase equipment and facilities that cannot be covered by the school's operational funding. A description of these fundraising endeavours are outlined below. For more information please email Anne, our finance officer:


School Amenity Donation

The Board of Trustees asks you to make a donation to the school. The contribution requested has been set at $50 per student attending the school. A tax receipt can be issued so you can make a claim on your tax return.

Sponsorship of Newsletter

We can provide advertising for you on our fortnightly newsletter which is circulated to approximately 350 families. Costs vary from $5 to $30 depending on the size of the advertisement. This could benefit your business or workplace and will assist the school to keep costs down. Please contact the office if you are interested.

Events and Trips

Each year there are various class and syndicate activities such as camps and school trips outside the classroom. Sometimes there will be a fee in order for your child to participate. We are always mindful of the challenge these can be for some families and so we attempt to keep activity fees to a minimum. If you have any hardship in meeting these costs, please contact our principal to discuss options.


Sundry Fundraising

Other fundraising events happen during the year. We really appreciate any offers of help. Present fundraising includes

  • The Central Challenge Rogaine Event

  • The Central Crank Mountain Bike Event

  • School performances, including Choir and Kapahaka

  • Scholastic New Zealand Book Clubs

  • Book Fair

  • Calendar Art
